It's summertime on Sweetheart Mountain and we are up to our E-strings in gigs and other musical mayhem!
We have been busy playing BBQs, private parties, benefits, weddings and other events, in addition to visits to some old and new favorite spots. We also took a few days away to join friends and fellow bluegrassers at the Greyfox Bluegrass Festival in Ancramdale, NY. Aside from some torrential rains and gale force winds, we survived to pick, bow, strum, jam and eat ribs with about 20,000 other campers. We've also been working on some original tunes and recording our first CD at Tim Mayock's studio in Granby. We are hoping for a year-end or early 2008 release, which we'll celebrate with a party, T-shirts, sparklers and other acts of civil unrest.
