Instruments
Sean plays a 2005 Martin D-28 Marquis and a 2004 Gibson Cheryl Crow Signature Model guitar. He also plays a custom Washburn 6-string guitar and 1970s Yamaha 12-string guitar. He uses Fender extra-heavy picks and John Pearse strings. Arlene plays a 1925 Albert DeBlaye 4/4 violin that she bought from Fred Carpenter of The Violin Shop
in Nashville. She also owns a Zeta Strados electric violin and two German student violins. She uses D’Addario Helicore strings.
Equipment
We are always in the process of upgrading our equipment to meet our changing needs and achieve a better sound. Currently we use an AKG C-1000s mic on the fiddle and Arlene's vocal. We use an Audiotechnika AT3035 vocal mic and a Groove Tubes GT55 instrument mic for Sean. Our Galaxy Hot Spot monitors and Peavy PR15 main speakers are powered by a Mackie 808S mixer.
